A Blessing in Disguise

In drunkenness they met
Strangers who did not fret
Beauty lay in the eyes of the beer holder
Alcohol in their system made them bolder
None of them wanted to date
What you see is what you get…

As the night grew colder
She asked him to hold her
On his chest she lay
Like a pale bird of gray
She had read Steve Harvey
‘No sex on first date’
And even though he was getting hard
A kiss was all he could get
‘I am not that kinda girl’
And he knew he’d to let her roll

Slowly they began to communicate
Next it was more like sext
The girl was soaring high
The guy was sour and dry
Soon he asked her out
She knew their love would sprout
What more could a girl give thought
Than love brewed in an African pot?

His lips softer than her pillow
Their nudity unruly devine
Pressing hard against her mellow
His art perfectly fine
The night oozing with passion
In her he built a legacy
In her he left his creation
A proof that is science; not fallacy

[No reply]
This was an unexpected ball
She gave him the call
… went directly to voice mail!
She wished she could wail
Paced madly around the hall
‘How about suicide to end it all?’
Couldn’t trace any detail
He had been around for the cocktail
Tired, stressed and frail
She made her way towards the trail

Sweet innocent Miss
Couldn’t handle the pressure no more
That harmless little kiss
Belonged to the days of yore
It brought her to this
Her life it tore
Rubbing the little ‘devil’  in her tummy
Gave her a little warmth

How would it feel to be mummy?
‘Let’s wait till the ninth month’
My little ninja will remind me
Keeping it had more with
It was a blessing in disguise
She  chose to be wise
She turned and smiled without hesitating
She was ready now and the world was waiting.
